How To Access Your WSL Files From Windows Explorer

Follow the 2-step process below to access your WSL directory from Windows File Explorer:

  1. Open File Explorer in Windows
  2. In the address bar, type \\wsl$ and press enter.

You should see one or more folders with the names of your WSL distros, then click the one you want to access.

Alternatively, you can type \\wsl.localhost\ into the address bar.
